Busy Busy Busy....

Man, just when you think you have time to start a blog, a whole bunch of stuff comes up!

I apologize to anyone reading this that I have not updated or posted any yummy yarn pictures. Life has been rather hectic around here and when it comes down to the choice between knitting or writing about my knitting, the actual knitting wins (pretty much) every time. My boyfriend of 4.5 years is moving in this Sunday for the remaining 2.5 months that I'm in Germany. His program in France finished this week. What this means is that I'm trying to make room in my small apartment (26 m2), that I have lived in essentially alone (not counting a few 2 week visits from the boyfriend) for 8 months, for another person and all of his things. The biggest problem is to find a place for all of my yarn!

I hope to post stash pictures and pictures of what are on my needles in the next week. The yarn probably won't be as exciting as what some of you (Tara... thanks for commenting and letting me know someone actually read it!) are expecting. I haven't seen any hand dyed yarn here at the 3 LYS stores that I frequent. Now I admit, I haven't taken the time to thoroughly puruse the wares... I learned how to knit socks while here and I've mainly been focusing on purchasing sock yarn... but you would think something like that would jump out at you. The stores DO carry, however, large selections of Regia, Meilenweit, OnLine, etc. at deeply discounted (at least to prices I've seen online from the States) prices. I was able to purchase some 100 g skeins at 3 for 10 euro! (that's a little more that $13.50... WOW).

Anyways, just wanted to update so you didn't think I had forgotten about this blog already. I really am determined to keep it up to date!
